• Dear Members,
During the Covid-19 lockdown period, as you know we discontinued our regular meetings to ensure the safety of members.

The country is now coming slowly out of lockdown, so here is an update on what the Committee feels is appropriate still.

    1) With regard to restarting our programme of regular meetings and talks, we consider it is very unlikely that BAIC would be able to meet before October 2020 at the earliest, in view of the older age range of our members.

    2) Therefore we have decided that the AGM due in June, will similarly be postponed, tentatively until our suggested first meeting Tuesday October 13th. ..

    3) The venue and logistics of this meeting will be discussed at a later date according to the then best government advice.

    4) The attachments accompanying this letter are the annual accounts for the Bristol Anglo Italian Circle, together with the proposed programme from October through to December this year. The latter comprises the speakers who were originally scheduled for March, April and May.

If it appears safe to restart the programme of meetings on this basis we hope to do so, and to have the opportunity to see you all again!

The Committee looks forward to restarting the Circle with you all.

    With best wishes
